Return & Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase. By placing an order with House of Haliya, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth below.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the handmade, small-batch nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or order cancellations once an order has been placed and confirmed, regardless of the reason.

Every piece is individually crafted and inspected before it leaves our hands. We encourage you to review your cart carefully β€” including product descriptions, sizing information, and photographs β€” before completing your purchase. If you have any questions about a product prior to ordering, please contact us at houseofhaliya@gmail.com before placing your order.

By completing checkout, you expressly acknowledge and accept this no-return, no-exchange, no-cancellation policy.

Exception: Defective or Incorrect Items

We stand behind the quality of every piece we make. As the sole exception to our all-sales-final policy, we will address claims where:

  • An item arrives with a material manufacturing defect that was present at the time of shipment, or
  • You received an item that is demonstrably different from what you ordered (i.e., an incorrect product was shipped)

To submit a claim under this exception, you must contact us at houseofhaliya@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of the date of confirmed delivery. Your claim must include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear written description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the defective or incorrect item, including the packaging

Claims submitted after 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Upon receipt and review of your claim, House of Haliya reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:

  • Offer a replacement item of the same or equivalent product (subject to availability), or
  • Issue a store credit for the value of the item

No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including for defective or incorrect items. The remedy offered is at our sole discretion and is final.

What Is Not Covered

The following circumstances are explicitly excluded from any claim or remedy under this policy:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse β€” we do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason related to personal preference once a purchase is complete
  • Natural variation in handmade goods β€” minor variations in bead shape, color tone, crystal formation, or finish are inherent to handmade products and do not constitute defects
  • Damage caused by the buyer β€” items damaged due to improper care, exposure to chemicals, water, perfume, lotions, excessive force, or normal wear and tear are not eligible for any claim
  • Incorrect sizing or fit β€” please review all dimensions and size information carefully before purchase
  • Claims submitted after 7 days of delivery
  • Orders where delivery is confirmed by tracking information but the buyer claims non-receipt, where the carrier confirms successful delivery

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments

Once an order has been dispatched and tracking information has been provided, title and risk of loss pass to the buyer. House of Haliya is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, misdirected, or damaged in transit by the carrier or postal service.

If your tracking information shows delivery but you have not received your package, please check with neighbors, building management, and your local post office or courier depot before contacting us. House of Haliya will not issue replacements or credits for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.

For genuinely lost shipments (where the carrier acknowledges the loss), please contact us and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis, though we cannot guarantee a resolution in all circumstances.

Applicable Law

This policy is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy you may have under mandatory consumer protection statutes that cannot be waived by contract, including the California Consumers Legal Remedies Act (Cal. Civ. Code Β§ 1750 et seq.) and the California Consumer Protection Law. To the extent any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory right, that mandatory right shall prevail.
